So a series of internet problems has stopped me posting recently. Thankfully BT has restored my internet access just in time to post about, possibly, the most important news about Charlton in recent years. There are rumours abound that Varney is fronting the Sainsbury's bid that we heard about 3 weeks ago. Hopefully any news around Christmas about this takeover will be positive and we can all head into the holiday period in a jovial mood.
On a different note, I don't plan to write a preview of the Rochdale game as I doubt it will be going ahead. Hopefully this won't affect us too negatively and the extra rest will be of more benefit to us than the loss of Christian Dailly for the Walsall game.
